My Sweet Makay

I realize this is a belated tribute; however, I can't let this 'season of love' pass without proclaiming my deep appreciation and love for my sweet husband.

My heart has been full these last few days as my mind has been replaying the precious memories Makay and I have created.

The recollection of these moments has brought constant warmth to my soul and smiles to my lips. I find myself taking twice as long getting ready in the mornings because I must apply my mascara twice. You see, my smiles keep me from forming the 'O' shape needed to apply such a cosmetic. Just as I form my lips into the proper circular stance and swipe those lashes the following memories appear: my sweet Makay adding too much cornstarch to the Alfredo which converts the sauce into a solid; my love dancing to Michael Bubble's 'Spider-Man' theme song every morning after he jumps out of the shower; Makay 'mistakenly' putting on the pink jacket of my ten-year-old cousin just to make her laugh and giggle. The result of these memories always results in a removal and second application of my Maybelline mascara.

I thank my Father in Heaven every day for the great, undeserving blessing of this man in my life. He has placed an unknown, exalted happiness into the very center of my soul.

I love you, Sweet. Thank you.

Thank you for being the joy in my life.

I love you.

Hey how are you?! I have been blogging for a little while now for my family and just recently been finding non-family people that I know too! How are you? I didnt know you were a communication major! Me too, I have one year left!!

I think it is amazing how the Lord puts us with guys that we can all feel that way for. Everyone says "I have the best husband ever..." and I think that is the way it should be. The Lord putting us with people he knows can love us and someone we can love just as much in return is just another testament to me of how perfect His plans are. Wow this was long, sorry. Hope you have a good week!
