Happy Halloween!
Well, this picture is in honor of my parents. When I was a child (when all of my siblings were children, actually) we were pumpkins. Not different pumkins, no no... this costume was passed on from generation to generation. Ocassionally I was a witch, but the default costume was always a pumpkin, naturally.
But that's okay with me. My mom wasn't a big fan of this holiday and subsequently, this love--or lack there of--has been passed on to me. Why do I need to knock doors for candy when I can just call my dad? When chocolate withdrawls come my way, I can always count on my dad to supportivley tell me that I deserve it. Thanks, dad!

haha I love the picture. The thing that kills me about the pumpkin costume is not that it was passed down, because I am all about hand-me-downs, but that each of us put about 6 years of use into it before it was passed. Can you imagine being a 6-year-old pumpkin that you also were for every other previous Halloween, slightly scarring. But for the record, when you have kids, you will enjoy the holiday a bit better. Love you and glad we could share the pumpkin misery together!
CUTE picture! I was a big stuffed pumpkin myself when I was little! ;)
Hey...I now wear the pumpkin costume for Halloween...and unfortunately after all the years of eating Halloween candy I no longer need to stuff the costume with newspaper to make it poof out around the middle!!!
