I was recently tagged by my dear, dear sister, Lacey. So I am now part of the game, which means if you are reading this you have already or soon will be also. The rules are as follows..."Each player of this game starts with "6 Weird Things about You". People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says 'you are tagged' in their comments and tell them to read your blog!" The idea is to read about peoples' funny quirks and see where you have some in common. So, here it goes:

1: My husband pokes fun at me constantly for this. After I am finished showering in the morning, and I am on my long pursuit of hair and makeup, I have to put sweat pants on. I can not get ready in jeans and and a nice shirt. I just can't do it. I have to be comfortable when I am getting ready for the day.

2: Okay, this is something that drives me nuts. This usually takes place in a teaching/learning atmosphere. The teacher decides to use the chalkboard as a visual aid. That is great, don't get me wrong. I love visual aids. However, when the user of the chalkboard erases the board, he/she doesn't erase all of it. No, no. There is always bound to be one or two left-over chalk lines on the board. After that I have a hard time concentrating on the lesson because I just keep staring at those lines. I know, it's something I need to work at.

3: I pick up all the trash I see on the ground. I have to do it. Even if I am late for a class or in a hurry, I have to stop, pick it up and throw it away. It's a real struggle sometimes. When I am in a hurry to get to class, and I see a piece of trash ahead of me, I try to convince myself that it's okay and just keep walking. This is when I'll get two feet passed the trash..stop..turn around..go pick it up..throw it away..and become even more late than what I would have been if I just would have picked it up in the first place. To compensate for my tardiness, I just have to say that I am saving the world one piece of trash at a time.

4: Just like my sister, I love to shower in the dark. I would much rather have light from the window or the next room than the light in the shower. It's just nice. It helps me think. It's just more peaceful that way. I don't know how to explain it. Look to Lacey's blog for more information on 'Showering in the Dark.'

5: I have to always double check if my back-pack is closed all the way. I am paranoid that I will be walking around with it wide open. I always see people running all over campus with their back-pack's unzipped. It's just funny looking.

6: I have to fold my towels and socks a certain way. Even when Makay does the laundry and my socks don't get folded in all the way, I have to go through them and re-fold them. However, Makay is so kind to me and always folds the clothes the way I like them. I don't understand why I like it that way, but I am so thankful that he helps me in that department.

Welcome to the world of blogging. It is actually a lot of fun to post random things that happen or that you have thought of through the day. And if for no other reason than just to feed my addiction of reading blogs. I love you!
