Because this dealt with tools instead of the baby, I wasn't able to get Alli to post these pictures for me. These are pictures of the vanity that I built in my cabinetmaking class last semester. The vanity is built of alder and has a coat of dark walnut stain, ebony gloss, and tinted ebony lacquer. We also had the opportunity to build the counter top and to put the laminate on ourselves. It was fun to learn how to build this and other things until I realized that I need about 50,000 dollars in tools to make anything look professional. I am still trying to convince Alli that the tools are a necessity and not a want.

Oh young grasshopper....your wife has much to learn about testosterone and what makes one happy....tools are a man’s best friend. Be patient, persistent and wear her down with constant whining...then in a moment of weakness (and the intent to get you to shut up) she will give in. When this happens....BUY YOUNG GRASSHOPPER....waste no time.....buy with urgency and strategy....
Remember, a tiltable miter saw with a built in laser is priceless.
