Well, I have been so blessed to have such a wonderful pregnancy. I haven't been sick at all. The only sign that there is something in my tummy (other than the cute little ultra-sound which I still need to post) are the constant rushes to the bathroom at the most inconvenient times. I am 13 weeks along and my baby is the size of a fresh peach! My pants are definitely feeling tighter, and you can see a little, tiny poke if you're looking at my actual tummy, but you wouldn't be able to tell while clothed.
It's still such a surreal thing. I mean, is that baby really in me? When I received my ultrasound I was taken back at what miracles were taking place in that very moment. It was such a conformation of the existence of a loving Heavenly Father and his knowledge of each and every one of us. What a blessing it is to be able to carry one of His children. I think about the world that my babies will be born into, and I am struck with aw at what strong spirits they must be. I just pray I will be able teach them as much as I know they will teach me.
I am so excited to be a mom!
